APL / CAE Course Update – January 2021
Another Perspective on Learning (aka Richard Stone) is scheduled to present a selection of Short Courses during the early months of 2021 for CAE (Centre for Adult Education) in Melbourne.
The Courses include:
“Mediterranean Journeys (Pt 1) – The Aegean Region”
“Showtime in Athens – Theatre of the Ancient Greeks”
“Revolution in France – Allons Enfants de la Patrie”
“A History of Singing (Pt 2) – Madrigals, Masses & Motets”
“Rome or Death! Garibaldi & Co – Italy’s Risorgimento”
“A Man for All Seasons – Thomas More and His Utopia”
“Have Brush Will Travel – 3 Peripatetic Renaissance Artists”
“Literature & the First World War – A Great War of Words”
Until traditional classroom learning can be resumed, all courses will be presented online, via the Zoom platform. Setting up and using Zoom is a straightforward procedure and only requires an internet connected computer with basic webcam and microphone facilities.
Courses begin on January 20. All sessions 11.30am to 1.00pm
